Microsoft Commerce Server Developer

Job Summary
We have need for an Intermediate Level Commerce Server Developer supporting our eCommerce website utilizing Microsoft Commerce Server 2009. This developer will assist in the design, maintenance, development, and administration of the site, including all end-user functionality. This position is responsible for design, development, and management of processes to deliver custom and standard solutions . This position will work closely with the software development and server teams to stay current on technologies and software standards. The candidate will also be responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of all components surrounding existing interfaces. Responsibilities also include the design and coding of custom solutions and web parts utilizing C# and with Visual Studio.

Knowledge in software development using Commerce Server 2009, SQL Server 2005, C# or VB.NET 4 plus years of experience, of which 2 years are in eCommerce Experience with design tools such as Visual Studio as well as development of web-based software applications Experience with HTML, .NET, ASP, SQL Server Databases, XML Web Applications, Commerce Software 2007/2009, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Visual Studio .NET High volume experience along with integration to back-end systems Ability to write tight presentation layer content (in ASP.NET) with the .NET 4.0 Framework, web-based processing, cross-browser capability, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX Object-oriented Programming Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team Strong written and verbal communication to interact with management. Capable of adapting to changing priorities to meet demands. Ability to gather, document, and track software requirements. Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to successfully complete work assignments.
